Who will ever forget Harold Ramis? Best-known as an actor for 'Ghostbusters', 'Stripes', writer/director for 'Caddyshack', and 'Groundhog Day'.
Ramis, a longtime North Shore, Chicago resident, died at 12:53 a.m. from complications of autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis, a rare disease that involves swelling of the blood vessels. He was 69.

January 15th!
My birthday is coming up on January 15th. Michelle Obama's is the 17th. We have nothing in common! Darryl Ware posted on Facebook, 2014 horoscopes for the 12 signs. Mine says:
CAPRICORN – The Passionate Lover (December 22 to January 19)Sounds about right!
Love to bust. Nice. Sassy. Intelligent. Sexy. Grouchy at times and annoying to some. Lazy and love to take it easy, but when they find a job or something they like to do they put their all into it. Proud, understanding and sweet. Irresistible. Loves being in long relationships. Great talker. Always gets what he or she wants. Cool. Loves to win against other signs in sports, especially Gemini’s. Likes to cook but would rather go out
To eat at good restaurants. Extremely fun. Loves to joke. Smart. 24 years of bad luck if you do not share this post.

Obama Claims He’s Among Most Accomplished Presidents Ever
In spite of a record number of Americans receiving food stamps, a 7.3 percent unemployment rate, and an embarrassing launch of his signature healthcare program, President Barack Obama says his administration has been the most productive in history.

Some Of My Best Friends Are Lawyers
One afternoon a lawyer was riding in his limousine when he saw two men along the road-side eating grass.
Disturbed, he ordered his driver to stop and got out to investigate.
He asked one man, "Why are you eating grass?"
"We don't have any money for food," the poor man replied. "We have to eat grass."
"Well, then, you can come with me to my house and I'll feed you," the lawyer said.
"But sir, I have a wife and two children with me. They are over there, under that tree."
"Bring them along," the lawyer replied.
Turning to the other poor man he stated, "You may come with us,also."
The second man, in a pitiful voice, then said, "But sir, I also have a wife and six children with me!"
"Bring them all as well," the lawyer answered.
They all entered the car, which was no easy task, even for a car as large as the limousine.
Once under way, one of the poor fellows turned to the lawyer and said,"Sir, you are too kind. Thank you for taking all of us with you.”
The lawyer replied, "Glad to do it.You'll really love my place. The grass is almost a foot high."
I Was Hacked!
It cost me $75 to find out I was hacked at Movermike.com and 15 hours of work at $125 per hour to put it back the way it was. There was no way I could spend almost $2,000, so I decided the bastards, who got me for my views on this regime (yes, I'm being paranoid), weren't going to win, so I'm still here. I will continue writing about subjects that affect our Liberty or government actions that take away our Liberty. I will continue to write about Gold and Silver which are the "canary in the coal mine" that signal our currency is being devalued by the FED (Federal Reserve).
I will continue to write the truth about the economy as I see it; weather and it's effects; the hoax that is (gasp) global warming. I will continue writing book and movie reviews, writing about our culture and current TV. I will continue to bring you news about earthquakes in Oregon, because they are so rare and because I'm expecting a big one in Oregon. I will continue adding poetry and humor when appropriate.
I am just a semi-retired guy who spent almost 30 years as a stockbroker, another six years in marketing to high tech companies. I currently drive a school bus for Lincoln High students living in Forest Heights and in my spare time have a growing freelance writing business. I intend to spend six months a year in Mexico with my wife and write about our travels. I will continue blogging at Mover Mike Two, Landfair on Furniture, Mexico Calling, Mike Landfair Freelancer, and Market Bugle.
I WILL NOT SHUT UP!
