Nazi Gesture "Quenelle" Goes Mainstream

Never heard the word. Neither have I until today. The gesture was invented by French political activist and comedian Dieudonné M'bala M'bala, while running for office on the anti-Zionist party.
While Dieudonne says the quenelle is "an anti-establishment gesture," critics of it say it takes the appearance of a Nazi salute in reverse, making it an expression of anti-Semitism.
The Quenelle is performed by holding one arm straight by your side while the opposite hand points at your other shoulder. Recently Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs was photographed giving the gesture with his French friend Dieudonne.
